The Bear and the Kraken

Inspired by this drawing by my friend Kelly:

The bear and the kraken both went out for tea, but when it came to the flavor, they could not agree.
The bear wanted mint, the kraken, earl gray, and the bear could not think of one nice thing to say.
The kraken was civil. "Compromise: Constant Comment?" The bear said that flavor made him want to vomit.
The kraken was irked. He found this quite rude. And thus started an epic and terrible feud.

We're not sure who struck first, but who really cares? It rare to see fights between krakens and bears.

The kraken squeezed bear around his large waist, and the bear swiped his claws across poor krakens face.
The bear tossed the kraken a hundred miles far. The kraken hit bear with his shiny new car.
Their battle attracted a rather large crowd, whom placed bets and cheered, it got really quite loud.
They fought and the fought, for two thousand years, they fought and they fought, wile spectators drank beers.

And then, as kraken made a swipe at bears heart, he paused and he thought. "Wait. Just how did this start?"
"I'm not sure..." said the bear. "Nor am I." Kraken said. "Funny how things like that slip from your head."
"Lets be friends" Said the kraken. The bear smiled. "I agree." So the bear and the kraken both went out for tea.
